The 30-day replacement guarantee
Every Amerance placement is backed by a written guarantee. If our vetting fails you, we make it right — at no additional charge.
What the guarantee says, plainly
If a Medicare agent placed by Amerance does not work out within the first 30 days after contracting, and the reason is directly attributable to a failure in our vetting process — meaning we confirmed a credential status that turned out to be inaccurate — Amerance will source a qualified replacement candidate at no additional placement fee.
The guarantee is about accountability for our work. We verify licenses, AHIP certifications, and release status before presenting a candidate. If we got one of those wrong and it caused the placement to fail, we own that and fix it. No additional invoice.
The guarantee covers
- License status we confirmed was active that turns out to have been inactive, suspended, or expired at the time of placement
- AHIP certification we confirmed for the current plan year that was not actually in good standing
- Carrier release status we confirmed as clear that was in fact still under an active exclusive appointment
- Any other credential verification Amerance explicitly represented as confirmed in writing that proves inaccurate
The guarantee does not cover
- The agent voluntarily resigning for personal reasons unrelated to credentials
- A family, medical, or life circumstance that causes the agent to leave
- A compensation or commission dispute between the agency and the agent after contracting
- A change in the agent's career direction or decision to pursue other work
- Performance, production, or motivation issues not related to credential status
- Any decision made independently by the agent after placement is complete
Why this scope
Amerance is a vetting and placement service — not an employer, not a manager, and not a party to the agency-agent relationship once contracting is done. The guarantee covers exactly what we can control: whether the information we provided about an agent's credentials was accurate. It does not extend to human decisions that neither we nor the agency can predict.
A guarantee that purported to cover everything would either be unenforceable or require Amerance to charge significantly more — eliminating the cost advantage that makes our model worth using. A guarantee scoped to what we actually control is honest, sustainable, and easy to invoke when it applies.
How to invoke the guarantee
Contact us within 30 days
Reach out to jeff@amerancehealth.com or call directly. Let us know which placement you're invoking the guarantee on and what happened. The clock starts from the agent's contracting date as documented in your placement agreement.
Describe the credential failure
Explain which credential or status we represented as confirmed that proved inaccurate. If there's documentation — a DOI lookup, NIPR record, AHIP screenshot, or carrier communication — share it. The more specific you are, the faster we move.
We source a replacement
Once a guarantee claim is confirmed, we prioritize sourcing a replacement candidate who meets your original requirements. We do not charge an additional placement fee for the replacement. The guarantee is honored once — if the replacement candidate also fails, normal pricing applies for any further search.
Common questions about the guarantee
What if the agent leaves in week two for a personal reason — is that covered?
No. Personal decisions by the agent after placement are outside the scope of the guarantee. If the agent's license was accurately verified and the placement failed because the agent chose to leave for unrelated reasons, the guarantee does not apply. This is the same limitation any recruiter or placement service has — no one can guarantee an independent person's future decisions.
What does "no additional placement fee" mean exactly?
It means we source, vet, and present a replacement candidate without charging another placement fee. You do not pay twice for a placement that failed due to our error. You may still pay for any state licensing fees, carrier appointment costs, or other third-party expenses that your agency incurs — those are not Amerance charges.
Is the guarantee in writing?
Yes. The placement agreement issued before candidates are presented documents the guarantee terms, the 30-day window, and what qualifies. Review it before committing to anything. If you have questions about the agreement language, contact us before signing.
Does the guarantee apply to volume or adjusted-rate placements?
Yes. The guarantee applies to all Amerance placements regardless of the agreed fee amount. A placement at a volume discount carries the same 30-day guarantee as a standard placement.
